Whats a good price on a complete engine rebuild to factory specs. Bored just a little? (Block and heads...) Would it cost more than a grand?

You can buy a brand new crate motor for about what it costs for a quality rebuild.:skull:

but is a crate motor ready to go right away? Doesn't it still have to be machined?

Nope, slap all the small stuff on it and your good to go...

A quality rebuild will cost you more than a grand... we averaged around $1200- $1600 depending on the condition fo the core and the owners desires.
