No problem. Grab some vice grips, clamp it on, but not TOO tight. itll giveyou the extra leverage to breake it open.

well it could always be worse. it could be one of those metal tubes. and you could, while trying to open it, rip a hole in the tube, spilling super glue all over your hand and the tube, thus super glueing the tube to your hand, while at the same time, super glueing your fingers together on your other hand :flipoff2:

I've always wondered about that.. I men if superglue is supposed to bond anything to anything.. then why does it not glue the cap shut? I have NEVER seen a superglue with the lid glued shut... ya know?:flipoff2:

I'd glue it to something so I wont lose it, but if that were possible, I wouldnt really be doing it.

it used to happen to me every now and then. The worst was with model glue. That stuff would get clogged up in the long needle tip, and you would have to use those long wires to unclog it. So I figured if I left the wire in the tube, it wouldn't clog up. No. Instead the wire became superglued in the needle tip. Pliars worked the best to get it out.

So, you want to be first in line in that situation???

superglue is 'activated' by oxygen... keep the cap closed, and it won't harden.

Be the man you are and go buy a new tube of anal lube! :flipoff2:

Actually, superglue reacts with water, not air (ions in the water if ya wanna get specific.). That why it bonds to skin so damn fast.

If you want to set up superglue really fast or maybe have a joint that's not quite smooth sprinkle a little baking soda on it.

My dad used to have this stuff called Zap Kick and it'd set that shit up so fast you could actually hear it dry. He'd get pissed when I'd use it on my model cars but damn, total assembly time was only about 2 minutes!

Hmm I thought it was oxygen too. Cyanoacrylate implies no oxygen in the compound, when exposed to oxy it does it's thing.
