jeepmandan 03-18-2003, 01:58 PM So the bearings on my 35 in my 99 TJ went out and instead or rebuilding it (duh), I have decided on swapping in a rebuilt 44 from a 2000 TJ. What are my concerns if any. I will need to swap control arms and brakes onto the 44. Are they the same as the 35? Any other issues, or is it a "bolt in" ? Might want to check into that if you have a stock rig. Other than that it will bolt up. Scott Sharp 03-18-2003, 05:02 PM if you have a SYE hence cv shaft all should bolt up, but if you still have the stock shaft, you may have issues with the shaft hanging on at the tip of the slip yoke mind if i ask what you managed to pick the D44 up for?
