very annoying but they help keep this board up. so every now and then click on one.:)

I use a pop up killer program.
It closes them out as soon as they hit the screen.

This is a free program ind installs pretty quick.

I got tired of closing them so I left them open and after two, I didn't have any more pop up.

It might pay for the site, but if no one's here, then.... well.... the WEB designers get a lot of money for nothing! Why can't we use less annoying ads PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!

I would hazard nothing. So put up with the pop ups.
Lance is working on things to make it better. He makes nothing doing this, so don't complain for a free service.

stick with other forms of advertizing.
no one is bitching about the banners much.
pop ups suck. if this were ANY other site i would abandon it because of them.
it is great that he is searching out revenue to keep this site alive but pop ups are not the solution, rather the ruination.

that pop up killer seems to work fairly well.
only have 1 that uses the pirate thread address that you cant kill with out it closing pirates. still learning it

fawk yea I would pay 20 bones a year for por! Its better than any mass advertisment 4x 44" poser rig rag any day... I hate most of the mags out there plus what are the chances of writing in and getting answered??? The general reading population has no feedback or if they do its sensored and stripped and credit is given to the publication. This place has friendships and an awesome tech side :) Also people's opinions are well received most of the time and usually well written. The BS has been cut lately and made the experience much more enjoyable. The pop ups are quite annoying but you do what ya gotta do. I just click on the browser and leave them in the background they dont re appear on top anymore. problem temporarily solved. ;)
