Took my 2000 Ram Quad Cab 4x4 5.9 gas in at 35,945 miles with a laundry list for the dealer. heres the scoop:
There is a TCB for the pinging - flash upgrade to ECM
Complained about tire wear pattern - they checked alignment (again) and installed new shocks - free.
The auto trans linkage was squeaking and it had a ticking noise in park - there is a fix that the dealer can order and it is free.
Front main seal was leaking and the balancer needed to be replaced - had a groove in it. If you go in for an oil leak at the front main, make sure they check/replace the harmonic balancer.
All in all, it drives tight as a drum and I am pretty happy except for the 14MPG part.
