I have a question about Dana 60's.
I have the opportunity to get a set of front and rear for real cheap.
I have a 77 chevy and was wondering what if any mod's I might have to make to install these into my truck.
The guy I talked to said that he thinks they might have come out of a dodge? If they are not out of a chevy then am I going to run into problems?
Does anyone know??:confused:

I think the spring perch's are in the same place but the shock mount most likely will need to be moved, which shouldn't be any big deal. I helped a friend swap a dodge 60 front were a chevy 44 used to be. He had custom shock mounts and those had to be welded up. THe Driver side perch he cut off and rewelded but I think that was only because he used a 3 degree shim on the pass side pumpkin perch and didn't want the shim on the drivers side.
