I have a 93 Mustang 5.0 in my 89 Wrangler. I used the Advanced Adapter motor mounts for the installation. I have had 5 grade 8 bolts shear off in the past two months. Just wondering if anyone else seems to have this problem or any hints to keep this from happening again. thanks Doug

You mean bolted to the frame? if so WELD :D I used the Z and M mounts and will recreate a set for 200 if you want....they won't break

No The bolts that go into the block have sheared off. The mounts are welded to the frame.

I thought the advance adapters and the Z&M mounts are the same. I have the Z&M and don't have a problem with the bolts, my 5.0 is built up too.

Are you using a torque rod on the transfercase mount to keep the motor and tranny from loading up and twisting.
Without this your motor will try to lay on its side when you get on it. I'm wondering if this may be causing the bolts to get sheared off

I do not have a torque rod connected. That was a suggestion another person made and maybe I'll give that a shot before changing motor mounts. Thanks for you input!

More mounts are the way to go.
