..that the media covering the war insists on reporting our troop locations, strengths, etc. We DO NOT need this information. Nobody but the military does. Nor do we need to hear about planned troop movements or blow-by-blow reports of events!!

To top it all off, they take the most minute piece of information and repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat it until they have a new piece of information to abuse. Then they get a few people to repeat it again "live via satellite from" wherever. Then they have "experts" overfawkinganalyze it.

God I hate the media.

That's exactly why I'm here now... to avoid the repeat :flipoff2: thanks for the reminder ;)

Ditto, after the second expert began speculating and they showed the same shot from Al-Jazeera for the third time, I knew it was time to go.

Since I cancelled my cable I only get a few channels and the only one that was covering Iraq is the CBC. They have interviewed several people in Bagdad itself as well as in Washington, London , Jordan, Quatar and Kuwait. They aren't repeating things over and over but rahter are asking the various reporters about what they information they are gathering wherever they are. Overall I think they are doing a pretty good job.
