Hello,
Do the Mopar 87 Dodge Ram Charger outer tie-rod ends for the 3500# axle have the same taper and thread as the 2500# axle?
As in, could I bolt the 3500# axle tie-rod ends in place of the 2500# ends?
The mopar part number is different and the axle is rated for a higher capacity - so I thought they might be stronger? Yes? Anyone compared them?

I think you mean 3500 lb and 4500 lb (or Dana 44 and Dana 60 for the rest of us) I doubt their tierod ends are interchangeable, the D60 ends are larger in every way.

Dealer says 1500# and 2500#
