Jack in De Box Ultimate Cheeseburger combo, large sized, with curly fries and a Coke. Something like 3000 calories. I like it even more now, new patty meat, and they finally started putting ketchup and mustard on it (used to be just mayo  )

Well since I'm only in Cali like twice a year, I don't get to In N Out or Del Taco often enough. For cheeseburgers... Whataburger and the #1 w/ cheese, fries, and Coke. For mexican... Taco Cabana and the Super Tex Mex Dinner (ch ench, beef taco, tostada, rice, beans, a dolup of quac, and two fresh tortillas):D

I had a disgustingly fat football coach from So. Cal, said he could eat a 10x10 animal style. I could never figure out how you could fit that thing in your mouth. I like a 3x3, that is about good for me.

If only we had Taco Cabana here in Ohio... sigh

I love the 2 breakfast burrito meal at McD's. Hashbrowns and a large Coke.

Also very hard to beat the Spicy Chicken Combo at Wendy's with fries and a Coke.

And if you are lucky enough to have ever been there, an original Runza with their crinkle-cut fries kicks ass.

and anything from Chic-fil-A

Animal style is like Choose Your Own Adventure. In a nice one up method over the places that have double and triple meat cheeseburgers, In N Out said fawk it. If you want it animal style tell us how many patties/cheese you want. So the fat ass football coach with the 10X10 got 10 patties and ten slices of cheese all housed conviently in one bun

What is In and Out is that a burger joint? Here in New England we dont have Del Taco,Ive never even heard of whataburger or Tacocabbanna. We used to have a few Jack in the boxes many years ago and there is only one Arbys in the Boston area that I know of but we have many independant Roast beef sandwich shops that if you went to you would never eat that Arbys crap again. We also dont have Red Lobster and very few Olive Gardens. With the seafood here and the large Italian population there are plenty of Independant places for those kinds of food.We are Flooded with Dunkin Donuts and the first Krispy Kreme in New England is being built right now a couple of towns over from me.

Yes, In N Out is a burger joint that originated in S. Cal. AFAIK, they are also in N. Cal, AZ, and Vegas. Del Taco is also a Cal co, but they are in Vegas and I think AZ. Whataburger is only in TX and was started in Corpus Christi. Taco Cabana also started in TX and I have only seen one other one outside the state (Vegas).
You are so right about the independent places being good! There a lots of regional fast food franchises. White Castle on the E. Coast, Taco Johns in the Midwest, and on and on. I don't know how the Olive Garden stays in business after Macroni Grill hit the scene. It make OG seem like cafeteria food. Damn I'm a jackass, maybe I should travel the country and right the great american novel about food franchises.

I can too, but I cant move for about 3 hours after, I just kinda lay in the booths.

Its also so big its useless, you have to break it apart to eat it, and it wont fit in your mouth. The key to getting past that is to slide them all at an angle like \ and start from the top, and slant it the other way, and so on.

I think i need to go there now....

You ever see that episode of "The Simpson's" where the kids take a field trip, and somehow something happens and the kids end up on the desert island. They are all saying how hungry they are and the two twins are all "We're so hungry, we could eat at Arby's." Then all the others kids whisper and gasp, "Wow, that's hungry...." You made me think of that!

Arby's make me want to :barf:, if I want real roast beef I will go to a deli.

Hmmmmm my fast food meal:

McDonald's
Double quarter pounder with bacon, supersized, sprite, a double cheesburger on the side.
Wendy's
Tripple cheese burger with bacon, 3 orders of 99cent nuggets, large frost, large fries, and a whole lot of chillie sauce that comes in the gold packets.

Also Hardy's used to have something called a monster burger back in the day. Dont know if they have it any more though. None of those out by me, just down south.

We don't have Macaroni Grill here in the Northwest, but we do have The Old Spaghetti Factory which, IMHO is tons better than Olive Garden. We went to OG for my sisters BD an my order of fettucinni alfredo cost me $12:eek: I can get the same thing at Spaghetti Factory for $7. Everytime I go to OG, the prices are higher, the lines are longer and we have to wait longer for our food. If we go there because of someone else, fine, but we will not go back on our own.

Sorry You got it wrong!
In&out SECRET MENU

"Animal Style" - bun is grilled with mustard, sauteed onions instead of raw, pickles, extra "special sauce"
"Wish Burger" - no meat, i.e. veggie burger

"Protein Style" - lettuce wrapped around the burger instead of a bun for all of you who are in "The Zone"

"Old Fashioned Style" - ketchup and mustard instead of the weird special sauce

"Flying Dutchman" - two meat patties with two slices of cheese. that's it.

"Double Meat" - Double Double without cheese

"4x4" - 4 meat patties with 4 slices of cheese. Are you SURE you can eat that?

"2x4" - 2 meat patties with 4 slices of cheese for the fromage afficionado

"Grilled Cheese" - cheeseburger, sans meat

"Fries - well done" - get your fries extra crispy and brown the way you like them!

"Choco-Vanilla Swirl Shake" - just what it sounds like

"Neopolitan Shake" - a blend of chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes.

I ate at the 1 Arbys that is in my area and allmost threw up.It is the most dissgusting grey fake sliced meat shit that they call roast beef. Here in the Boston area mostly on the North Shore we have Roast Beef sandwich shops that are 99% of the time owned by Greek Famillies. They started in the next town over from me Lynn Mass. in the 1950s.

Thinking of this thread is the sole reason I hit the Taco Bell for lunch today.:D

I had a Steak Quesadilla, Soft Taco, Meximelt, and Double Decker taco Supreme. I used about 6 packets of Fire Sauce and drank a Sierra Mist.

They're OK. This was my first and probably my last. It's just a tortilla with melted cheese and some steak. Not their best offering ever to hit the market but's alright.

The old Fajita Wraps were soooo much better. Too bad they don't offer those anymore.
