When disassembling the Dana 300, what is the best method for getting the pressed on bearings off without destroying them in the process?

Oh and to state the obvious...no I don't have a full tranny shop with pullers j-23123
through j-0980989088, sitting on the bench.

A bearing seperator (fork like tool) from NAPA, Snap-On, etc. ...

Thanks Jaffer.

I ended up using a dead blow hammer, with the gears supported in the case by two blocks of 1x1 wood, and then used an air chisel to push the shaft out of the bearing. Worked great.

flip1yj is right. Well it may not be the right way but it works. I've probable rebuilt or installed 4-1 kits in at least 2 dozen D300's and I do have all the pullers and i still use this method.
