Yea, that's right.

I've got a "line" on a 74 Cherokee (complete) for 100 bucks. :flipoff2:

360, auto, and a quadracrap.

Anyway, it's got the D44 front, pass drop, power brakes and power steering.

Now, the questions. (This is all on a 76 CJ 5)

1. D44, must outboard? I did a search, came up with three hits. The front is a no brainer, how do I do the solid mount? Any pics?

2. Can I use the power steering setup and power brake setup off if?

3. What do I do about a rear axle now? No, I don't want a 60, for 35" tires, I think a 44 will suffice. A Scout 44 is going to be a little bit narrower, and I want it to be within an 1". Any suggestions.

Oh yea, did I mention. 100 bucks? :flipoff2: :D

well, if you already have a d44 from a scout for the rear, and you have a wider front, just have the front narrowed.

I guess I "mispoke". I don't have a 44 rear yet, just wondering what my options are.

I want the front to stay the same, I don't know what the WMS to WMS is, as the rear. So, I guess in a nutshell, out of what can I find a 44 rear (centered pumpkin) that is within an 1" of my front?

Out

I use a '76 Wag front in my CJ with a Scout rear. It works perfect. I outboarded the springs. The inside of the front mounts are almost even with the outside of the framerails. Just measure the inside of the wag springs before you pull it apart, then use that measurement on the cj. If I was going to do it again, I would use a Chevy front and narrow both sides, to keep the springs under the frame. After the doing the Warn event, I really hate the turning radius, but it keeps the u-joints together not being able to turn sharp. I tried to use the wag booster, but it is way too big around to fit under the CJ hood. I just run the Wag Master cyl. with no power, and I love it. The wag power steering is almost bolt in. I also bolted the wag 360 to the stock cj 999.
