I'm in the middle of converting my CJ7 springs to YJ springs, and all the parts stores in my area here in Portland, Or. have told my that there is no shackle reverse kit for a CJ7 using YJ springs. Does anyone have any ideas? The Jeep already has a spring over going for softer ride with more flex. Thanks James.

Check this place out for to buy from or for fabrication ideas.
I have a CJ-7 with shackle reverse and YJ springs. Now you are wondering how it was done. I ordered a level 3 frame from Matkins with the reverse built in it and the 4.5 extreme YJ springs from Rubicon Express. It can be done to a stock frame because I have seen some of the posts about it on other boards.

Like Rocktoad said try MORE. I got my SR from them and used YJ springs.

I would recommend the m.o.r.e kit i had it on my last jeep and loved it. Also if you are looking for some more flex get the buggy springs with it.

avalanche makes a bolt on SR kit that uses YJ springs and outboards the leafs for axles off another vehicle.

I HAVE A MORE SRS W/BUGGY SPRINGS ON MY '7. IT IS DESIGNED SO THAT YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF RUNNING YJ SPRINGS, YOU CAN EITHER GET THEIR SHACKLES OR GO WITH ANY OTHER MANUFACTURER OF YJ SHACKLES. IF YOU DON'T USE YJ SPRINGS THERE ARE SPACERS POROVIDED IN THE KIT. OF THE KIT AS A WHOLE, THE RIDE, STEERING, AND FLEX ARE OUSTANDING. THE KIT IS REAL STRAIGHT FORWARD AS FAR AS INSTALLATION GOES. IT DOES CONSIST OF REMOVING THE FRONT SPRING HANGER, AND DRILLING THROUGH THE FRAME. ALSO THE GUYS AT MORE ARE REAL HELPFUL AS FAR AS ANSWERS AND FABRICATION GOES. GIVE EM A CALL.
