O.K I have a 92YJ with 2.5l motor, 5speed, no a/c. I'm getting codes:
12= not listed in my POS Chilton manual
33= A/C clutch relay (I don't have A/C so I don't have a relay for it)
55= end of code output
The maint. required light came on my dash today but engine runs fine. I ran the codes 4 times and I'm getting the same codes each time so basically I'm kind of lost. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

maint req light comes on at preset mileage intervals.. There is a "timer" under the dash to reset it.

There is no underdash timer on a '92 YJ. The timer is built into the pcm. You will have to plug a scanner into your data link and turn to the page that says "reset EMR". EMR is early maintance reminder. While you are in there you should look at your long term adaptives. This will give you an idea of how much fuel correction is needed, and weather or not it is time to purge your injectors.

O.K. I learn something new everyday! I guess it's time to buy a scanner or take it to the dealer which sucks! So what about the codes that I am getting? Are they B.S. or what? Thanks.

Well I found the info in my manual. 90 and earlier models do have a time under the dash. 91 and later need to be reset with a special tool after replacing the oxygen sensor. Thanks for the help.
12 means that your battery was disconnected within the last 150 startups.
33 is the o2 sensor
55 is end of codes.
