I'm installing a 4.5 Rubicon Espress short arm lift on my 98 TJ. When I removed the rear upper control arms, I have to remove the rear park brake cable and rear brake lines (drive side only) from the stock arms. The RE arms have no place to reconnect the cables and line.

I called RE & they said "zip tie them". In order to do that, I'll have to remove (grind or cut) the brackets that are on the cable and line. I don't think a zip tie will hold them over time.

Anyone have any advice or experience?

Hose clamps?

A screwdriver, hammer, and channel locks is all you will need to remove the stock bracket. The zip tie will hold just fine, just keep it loose on the arm.

vice grips on the bracket(right around the hose), channel locks on the flat part, and bend, it will take a few bends before it loosens up enough to just pull it off;) After a few RE 4.5 lifts you get the hang of it:D
