I rode in a friends new 4 door Dodge Cummins today and I will have to say I was very impressed over the previous generation. The diesel is significantly quieter than my 02 PSD, it rode better, and the interior seemed nicer IMHO. I can't get over how they toned the noice down on that engine. Also, the 4 door shortbed Dodge 2500 is essentially the same overall length as my F250 extend a cab short bed. He had 16k in 4 months with no issues.
He gave 36k for it.....ouch.

Just recommending that you give the Dodge a fair look if your buying new.
