I have found a front dana 60 in a 1992 Dodge Ram 250HD diesel. The drivers side was hit and the outer knuckle on that side is toast. but the rest of the axle is in great shape. Is this axle worth saving at $200?

Hard to tell. Probably not, though. If the inner knuckle is bent, chances are the tube is, too. Maybe even the housing itself. New outers for a d60 front can be upwards of $750, not to mention the labor involved in having a new inner knuckle welded on straight. If it were me, I'd just save up and buy one that I knew wasn't FUBARed.

For $200 I would get it even if it was screwed up just for the good parts that are in it or to trade.

i'd pay $200. there is a good chance the 2 stub shafts are still good, the non-damaged sides inner shaft is probably good, and the hubs would be worth at least $100 to someone who had a dually dana60 front. how about lockouts? they might be good. i say buy it and part it out. you might be suprised at how much you could make off of parting the thing out. heck i might be interested in the lockouts for spares if it has them.

Hubs? Aren't they vaccum?

92's still had them. it was before the body change which is when the disco d60 came into existance.

93's also have factory WARN hubs but only on the Diesel
