When the bender is mounted in the cement does everyone put it on a slab or what. I made a post hole 1 ft in dia and every time I bend I have to re-adjust the bender to be level. Very time-consuming and it is pissing me off. Any comments?

Get an adjustable level/angle gauge and then just set your tube to whatever your bender is at.
Example, my garage is about 1º off where I bend, so I compensate by using the same gauge on the tube to make sure that it is 1º off too. Make sense?
So how much $ did youpay for yours? Is it the kind that slips into a level or is it the dial type that clamps onto your tube?

If I am reading this right, you made a 12" diameter hole and poured a concrete mount.
If not then ignore and type it slower so I can understand
If so, then how deep? Did you make the bottom larger or the same size or smaller? The bottom should be larger, just like a fence post to be used for mounting a gate. If you have seen rickety fence gate posts improperly installed they get this way just just holding a gate door (even properly sized)while it opens and closes.
A slab would be the ideal setup but if not then I would drop it down a minimum of 36" deep and make a hole at least 2 feet wide at the top and as wide as you can make it at the bottom.

I just bolt Mine to the floor in the garage. Its only off a few degrees so I just make sure the tube is the same angle as the floor. Here is a pic of the stand.

My angles change drastically when pressure is applied to the tube. It looks like mine has some slop at the die center pin.
What I often do is, make 1 pull and bungie the cheater bar to the ratchet bar and compare the level then. If I need to adjust, I release some tension, and rotate the tube until it is right. I always level the tube to the top of the die. This is the only way I have really been able to get mine accurate. I use the magnetic angle finders like the on pictured too.
Do you guys have a lot of slop in your die to center pin area, or is it just me?
my JD2 does, I do the same basic thing.
