Anyone here do it? Do you have to have a dual head card, or can you do it just like in 2k or 98 where it's supported natively?

Thanks

Sorry NT doesn't do that natively.

You either need a dual headed card.

Two Matrox cards work as well, but I believe they have to be of the same model.

I used to do this setup all the time with dual Matrox Millenium or Mystique boards.

I'm not sure this works on NT4 without a dual display card. I ran 2 heads on Win2k with Mystique cards, until I got a 21" monitor.

It doesn't need a dual display card. As long as the two cards used can use the same driver, and their driver is written to handle it. It works. Matrox is just the only one that i can think of off the top of my head you can do the dual card thing with.

Trust me.. been there, done that. Been running dual headed NT systems since NT 4.0 came out.
