For the first time in, oh, a year I went to the gym. I feel really good. I went cuz I have been wanting to start back up for a while, and after last weekend and my body still being sore, I figured now is a perfect time to start since I'm already hurtin. :)
I feel good and my motivation is high this time. Gonna try to go at LEAST 4 nights a week for at least an hour.

Lets see how long it last guys. Place your bets. :p

I'm at 160 right now ( :eek: ) I have no target weight, I just want to be able to run across a parking lot without getting winded :( We will see what happens after that :) Start small...Start small...Start small...

I only run when chased. I've found that it's less tiring (and I get called "pussy" less often :p ) if I just stand and fight.

Baha, I'm not planning on losing a ton of weigh. I'm 5'7''...I weighed about 135 in highschool (before gettin knocked up) and dont want to be quite back to that. I'd settle for 145-150. Just 10-15 pounds...mostly in the belly/thigh region. You guys that have met me all know I've got a lil extra goin on there. Notice guys, how I dont' ever post pics of that region of myself?? :(

Maybe tomorrow I will have Josh take a couple before pics of me...NOT sucking my belly in of course... but they prolly wont get posted so dont' hold your breath.

I'm gonna do mostly cardio right now just to get myself healthy, then concentrate on definition. Meeting with the club trainer next week, but until then, I'm just going and doing the bikes and gliderthingys. I did 30 minutes tongiht (2 sessions) and did about 15 miles. Nice and light. I hate running, so the bikes are a better fit for me.

We'll see eh?? :)

Don't go by how much you weigh for awhile.... since I started working out again (last month) that was the first words out of the trainers mouth who wanders around and helps out folks. She said go buy how your clothes fit. She said you'll gain weight for awhile while you build up muscle before you really start to burn off fat and drop pounds. She is right. I gained 2 pounds, but I know it's from muscle... my pants even fit a bit better. I have a loooong way to go though. But hey it's a start... good luck to ya :)

Thats true I gained 10lbs going to the gym and in the last month I lost five. But my waist size is two sizes smaller. I never was big but figured why wait until it happens to do something about it. BTW Country Girl I can't believe you've been knocked up before:eek: This whole time I thought you we're a virgin:flipoff2:

If you're going to measure something, measure BF%. As your composition changes, your weight will stay the same or, well, it's generally not a good way to measure the changes. You're increasing density by adding muscle...

Go low carb, sitting behind this desk has caused me to gain a bit, started the low carb thing, dumped 17lbs in two weeks and still going down. It is kinda costly though.
