I have a problem in the electrical system on my Zook. I was drivin' along, minding my own business. When Baby, that's what I call my Sammy, decides she doesn't want to run any more. She just shut off. There is no electrical movement in the beast at all. Battery's got juice but flip the switch and nothing. Think it may be in the wiring harness. There is no power anywhere. Can't turn the lights on or anything. But, if you run the wires direct from the lights to the battery, they are as bright as ever. Any thoughts?

I'd guess the fusible link.:D
I'd guess it's the ignition switch. Use a DMM and check for proper voltages at the harness. Make sure power is going in and coming out at the appropriate switch positions.
Should be an easy fix.

OH no!
Sounds like your thingymabob has gone out, those are big money to get fixed.
Get a test light and track the electricity from point to point.
Battery
Ignition
Computer
Coil
Find out where it ends and you found the problem.

Maybe she doesn't like being called baby?:flipoff2:
I'd check the fusible link or your ground cable....

Bad connection at the started solenoid is where I'd start. Used to happen to my chebbys all the time.
Don't use a test light on any circuits which run to/through a computer. Test lights can and do fry electronics. A digital multimeter (DMM) is always a better choice - it doesn't fry electronics and gives more information about electrical conditions too.

First of all, I didn't name her. She named herself. You need to have a deeper communion with your rig. They'll tell you their name. They'll let you know what they like and what they don't like.
Second, wow, look at all the newbie asshats. :flipoff2:
Just kidding! Welcome aboard.
