What is the difference in ground clearance between a dana 60 and a ford 9.

Is the Dana 60 lower than the 9 and by about how much?

the 9 inch will give you at least an extra inch or so, i know the 60 hangs down a LOT and my 9 inch is pretty high clearance.

The bottom of the diff housing on a 60 is lower then a 9" by about .5", but the pinion on a 9" is lower then the 60. That is what makes a high pinion 9 better then a rev cut 60. But that opens a whole nother can-o-worms on this board. Right Massey?
