How do they wear...I have a daily driver and would like 30k ( rotated every 3-4k)

How do they handle rain & snow

Any input good or bad appreciated

Hey Scott...one of my 'Zu buds has the Maxxis Buckshots on his Amigo and last I heard he loved em. He lives in Mississippi and they get a lot of nasty swampy clay gooky shit down there. To my knowledge, he has had no complaints. I saw them in action in Uwharrie NC last year, and they were pretty grippy <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

I have been using the older buckshot mudders made by gateway. They are great in the mud but I dont think you could get 30k miles out of them. They wear kinda quick.

Maxxis? What's the deal there? Do they still look like the old Buckshots?

I used to have a set of PR78-16"s (33")and they were great. When I got them, they were down to the wear bars and they were still 31.5-32" tall.

I run QR-78-16's (AKA 36") They don't last well on daily driving but they handle fabulus for a mud tire. Radials are the only way to go on the street. There are not as awesome for 4wheeling as swampers but if you drive on the road alot they work great. I run them at 12 PSI on the trail and the envelope rocks very well. On the road I run them at 30psi
