Yea, I know, I know!
I go by blazerman on this board but I have a jeep also.
I have a 82 CJ7 that I put a 4in pro comp lift on a little over a year ago, and know it is sagging big time in the rear. When I put the lift on I got about 5in of lift front and rear, the front has settled about 1in but the rear has settle about 3in. That seems way to much.
I was just wondering what you guys are using for a 4in lift and how you like it.
Is any body using a bds lift? Wonder how good that lift is.
Thanks for the info!
Yea, I'm sure you guys will bust my chops for my BB name!

BDS is a great lift with a great warranty. Use the 2 in SOA on my CJ7

Are you guys trying to tell me that no one here is running a 4 inch lift on their CJ7!

I run about a 5" lift. SOA :flipoff2:

Scrap the spring under crap and do a real lift.

BTW... I was running a pro comp lift and it was garbage. I bent one of the front leaves and that is why I did the SOA. It was stiff too. BDS is a good lift but is still limited. My .02

Spring over is the only way to go

I have seen that the BDS kits are really stiff? However I have observed the same thing with Pro-comps. From past experience, I have never seen any spring hold up to a hard wheeler over more than a season or two.
