Ok long story short: Poor college student splurges on some nice thick New York strips, cooks up two of the four, goes on to give his jaw a nice work out.

Now I just dug through the cabanit, found some tomato sauce, and diced tomato's with green chilies. Also a can if kidney beans which I DO plan on including, I know you purist don't eat chili with beans but I need the fiber (learned that the hard way, lets just say I eat alot of protien) Does this sound like it could even be edible? I'm just trying to save face not make the worlds greatist dinner, if I need more ingredients I will go to the store and probably buy some ground beef to throw in as well.

Wick Fowlers 3 alarm chilli mix. Cut meat into bite sized bits. Brown the meat, throw in pot with 3 cans rotel (tomato + green chilli mix), add chilli mix, add one beer and one shot tequila. add beans, serve. Good chit.

Make sure to simmer it for an hour or so with the chopped up steak in there. It will make the meat fork tender. Lots of Cumin and chili powder.... that's what makes chili taste like chili.

The steak sounds like it was tough and fiberous. A 10 minute marinade in mashed kiwi with some thinning liquid of your chioce for flavor will tenderize the meat and break down tough gristle.
