SO your going to run a solid lifter cam?

Might when I build up my spare 304 but I doubt it I haven’t decided what route to go yet.

But I think I going to keep it factory but bump up the compression and run propane

I always thought of that as a bonus - less things to go wrong, less things to forget to maintain. :)

.. and I'm running over 350psi of valve spring, so I guess the adjustable pushrods wouldn't work anyhow.

If your going to do it right, and those cheap ass adjustable push rods will fail if you rev it. You need to tig weld in an insert to the stock rocker and make the adjustment on the rocker.
