In an effort to eliminate unneeded wiring under the hood of the Sami (while swapping in the VW diesel), we inadvertently hacked off the wiring for the washer pump. Any idea what color the wires are so we can hook it back up?

You are looking for a black with blue tracer, and a black wire for the washer motor. A full wiring diagram can be found here:
