Taking a pole on which coils are the best for articulation and flex. Or any other coils that would be the best.

I currently run 5.5" WH Rockcrawlers and they work fine, as I'm sure the others do too. What really limits your flex is your radius arms. Unless you wrist an arm or go with exended arms, you'll be limiting the flex of any of the coils mentioned.

I have WH in the front and they are ok but if I had to spend my money on coils I would go with something different, they sag bad.

I have to agree with Zeus O de Sluice on dis, If you don't address the flex at the Radius Arm da coils will be a waste of cake. I personally had the BC's on my truck and I'm now lookin at going with something not so tall. My 3.5" coils rated for 302 & winch are 18" tall and have my crank over 36".

But back to the point or restriction. It will cost you $250-500 for a wristed radius arm if you can't build it yourself and that will get you more articulation than any aftermarket spring.

What are you building the truck to do?

I'm building it for rock crawling. I'm getting 38" tires and wristing my radius arm right now. I'm putting in an np435 and SEFI is almost done also. I will have 4.88 gears and locked up. So now I want the flex to go with it all. Like I said though I'm wristing the arm and probably doing f-150 leafs in the back. Well thats the facts of the Bronco.

Let me know what your opinions are.
Thanks

WH work just fine on mine. IMHO exteneded arms are the way to go. I've heard BC coils work well too. I guess it boils down to wherever you get the best deal.

I say BC is the way to go.... I had WH and they sagged big time. But they were used alot... BC has better options for accounting for weight.. Been running BC for awhile no problems yet

i gotta agree with mtnbronco, i had WH's coils and leaves and they both sagged bigtime, i got BC 5 1/2" coils now and had custom springs made by national spring that are 6" longer than stock, they work great! one piece of advice though, if you get custom made springs get some BC spring rockers so you don't twist the crap out of them.

I have F150's in the rear and WH 3.5's in the front. They have peformed beautifully with extended arms and have not sagged even with the big block up front. I dont think you can go wrong with either.

I checked out BC's web page, and they show that their's are $160 each??? Is that a typo? $220 for a pair of coils is kind of steep considering the competition's pricing.

BC is the way to go. Chuck is great to work with and his coils are the best I have run!
I had 2 sets of WH coils sag in my EB.

The BC's flex better and retain the lift better!

Chuck says that in the times he sold his springs only 1 has ever come back that sagged... Pretty good odds if ya ask me :)
