Think of a true 36" tire plus a bit :D
Ya how about some real specs like height # of plys etc... btw do you have prices yet on the bias ply versions?
Jason M

Height will change depending on rim width and if you want to measure on a truck or unmounted. However, they are a true 36" tire.
And they are bias.
4x4 plys.
$185 for the bias version..
:D

Tires are a soft chip and cut resistant compound. Just over 36" tall, 6 ply, C load rating. We ran them on Upper & Lower Helldorado yesterday. They are awesome, incredible traction, great flex, went places other tires did not, very impressive. I like them so much that I'm switching to them from my claws. Will post more when time permits.

If you'll let me see what a set looks like on the EB you can count me in for a set.

How much do you think the 39.5 on a 20" rim will be? Sounds like a great tire for my mog :D
Interco's site says the 36x13.50 measure out to be 36.8" tall, if this is true (I hope) then that means they are pretty much 37's:D .

Can you verfy the 36.8 measurement on a 15x10 wheel?

Damn i'm outta the loop.
sorry guys, i've been busier than a one armed fiddler since i got back from Moab.
I loved the tires.
not sure on weight but they were ALOT lighter than my claws.
i'll sell the ones that i ran for two days for 150 each. the cups are a little rounded off from me roasting them on a rock in upper helldorado.
these 36's on a 15x10 beadlock at 30 PSI measured....

35.5 on the jeep
Are those on 15x10 wheels? If they are then Interco's site is way off on the measurement. Maybe I will go with the 39.5. Will they come out with something closer to a 37 or 38?

That's also ON THE VEHICLE. probably 36" if measured off the vehicle or horizontally.
You can't compare vertical on-vehicle measurements between rigs, because of different weight.

I called Swamper yesterday & got this info:
36x13.50-15 SSTI-801
36x13.50-20 SSTI-805
36x13.50-16 2 WEEKS
36x13.50-16.5 4 WEEKS
36x13.50-17 6 WEEKS
39.5x13.50-15 1 WEEK
21/49-17 Ltd Qty’s. 2 WEEKS
24/49-20 Ltd Qty’s. 6 WEEKS
Compound is identical to the SX tire, and all sizes including the 49's are DOT approved.
TheLakeRat

The may say it's the same compound as the SX but they sure feel alot softer than any SX 've ever seen.
Stupid 39.5 X15 damnit !@$@#$#@$@#$ why not 17??? did they say anything about a 39.5 X 17??
Ryan
Has anyone measured the 39.5's yet? Just wondering if they will also run a little smaller than what Interco says they are.

the 39.5's won't be released for another week or two.
Will other tire companies be selling the IROK's?

price on these when you get a chance
36x13.50-16 2 WEEKS
so would the 36x13.5-15s pass the 36" horizontal caliper @ 12 PSI?
TheLakeRat

We are thinking that starting price will be around 185 until production gets up and then drop to the 160 range.
Will there be tire sizes other than 36, 39.5, and 49's?
Chancetribe

There will also be 42s and 45s.

36's on a 15x10 beadlock at 30 PSI measured....
35.5 on the jeep
and they would be shorter at 12psi.
It looks like they will work perfect for Erocc legends!:D
well just because a tire measures 35.5 vertically doesnt mean it wont be the same horizontally at a lower PSI. but that is what im getting after if it is small enough for erocc ledgends.

Do MTR's measure out to be around a 35.5 just like IROK's(assuming they are on the same vehicle)? I would think that since the IROK's are direct competition for the MTR's that they would both be about the same height.

So what's the story on these tires? Have they been tested in competition? How do they stand up to the Krawlers? Are they of the same caliber as the Swamper SXs and Krawlers???
Any news on the 39.5 Iroks?
