i cost more then 1200 by the time your done. somebody was just selling this in the for sale section. it's around 2200 by the time your all said and done.
i had Up and Over's version on my 76 fj-40 and i like it very much. very good cold starting and never had any problems offroad. there newer version is made with turbo-city components and includes a HEI distributor controlled by the computer also and a redesigned throttlebody adapter. the downey version is a Howell harness and stuff but downey and Howell customer service isn't very helpfull. they keep telling you to call the other person for answers.

For $2200, you could buy 7 weber carbs. Sure they wear out quick, and bog out at steep angles, but you could get at least 7 years out of them :D
you could get most of what you needed for a junkyard TBI 350 swap for close to that, can't you?

That is the easiest EFI option.

how much does up and over charge for their setup and what does that include?
As For the downey kit is is 1200 for a wiring harness, install kit with adapter, throttle body(used) and computer(used), and cool air cleaner. what am I missing?
