(posted this in general as well, but it is for a good cause, so why not here too)

Fellas and ladies.. I had posted this a few weeks ago regarding my speech. Well thanks to yall it rocked. It was very persuasive and I did well (got a A), anyways... round two starts now.


What I need now is to call my audience to action. I figure the best way was to find something local, like Virginia more so than say Ca...and get some type of petition to fight against land closings or legislatures.

I've looked around various sites, like offroad.com land issues, and haven’t been able to find anything recent.

So now you all come in again... Do you know anything local (VA) that I could help out with. I will be handing out petitions at the end of the speech with stamped envelopes. So it is indeed for a good cause.

I don't know of anything personally, but you might contact BRC (www.sharetrails.org) of one of you local clubs....then there's always the reverse psychology way - contact the local Anti-Access folks and find out what "projects" they have going and then counter one of those....
