well i would say the name is about the biggest difference they are both made the same way tube frames then sewn together
both offer suspension style support will one hold up better then the other ? i dont believe so . i would rank them equal

I will throw in my $0.02 too. I have sat in both. I was slightly disapointed at the beards compared to the master craft rubicon, but the, you get what you pay for. The mastercrafts are $750 for a pair, these are $340. From sitting in the pair, there is maybe $100 difference in comfort, if that. I will take the beards and $410 savings any day (plus they are still REALLY comfterable).
On top of that, Alan seems to be a really good guy, and I would rather buy beards from alan, than mastercrafts from someone else, even at the same price.

correct but did you compare the top line beards to mastercraft or the super seats ? both companies have high end and lower end seats a fair comparison might be the rubicon to the ultra pro seats by beard , that are in the repsective price range .
i have sat in both seats and i cant knock beard or master craft they both make awesome products
thanks for your vote of confidence also garrett

I actually did sit in just about every seat both manufactuers make. Dollar for Dollar you cant beat the beards. For my confort, i couldnt find anything more comfterable than the mastercrafts, but like most other people, money is a big concern, and i can buy 4 beards for the price of 2 mastercrafts.

Oh, and BTW, i told you awhile back i was going to buy gears from you, and dont you know it, my truck broke the day after i had the money together :( . Hope your deal is still good :p .
