SAME HERE! win98 & i.e. 6.0

I talked to woody about it and lowered my internet security level but it still locks up if I use the back button.

I have that problem occasionally, and normally I hit the Escape key and that helps!!

I had that problem with my old computer with W98. My new machine with XP, no problems.:skull:

Mine works fine. Try update your XP and IE. It's free!:flipoff2:

The site owner is kinda strange :D But as others have stated, win xp sp1 and IE6 128 encryp works as expected.

uuuuhhhh.....dddduuuuuuhhhhh

I've tweaked about all I can with the forum software....but still haven't not updated to version 1.2 yet. Will explore that more soon, projects in the garage are finally starting to get caught up!

Also, I've got the software from the SOR forum and might transfer everything to that brand....

I've yet to have a problem....running 98 at home, XP at work, 6.0 at both, and POS ME at my wife's office with 5.5.

Sheeesh, am I the only one in the world that likes or never has had a problem with ME??:flipoff2: However, my new Dell Dimension 8250 shipped Thurs with XP. Everything else, laptop, garage PC, and "replaced" Dell, will be swapped over to XP when I get home next week - dual monitors, too!! :D POR on the left with ih8mud on the right!!:flipoff2:

a current thread on ih8mud.com has narrowed the problem down to a IE6.0 issue....figgers....create updated software and a host of new problems!

Navigate with the folder links on the page and not with the back button and it seems to "solve" it....until IE does their thing anyways...

Yep, I like it now that I'm avoiding my browser buttons and using only the links on the ih8mud page. Hard habit to break after visiting "shady" sites with blind links. But so far no lock ups.

Really sucks to have that ih8mud page frozen on the workplace monitor.

I've given up trying to go there from my work system... Linux 7.3 running Netscape.

To get the tech articles I have to view the page source code and then past the links into my tool bar.

Guess I'm not supposed to go there during work anyway.
