hey guys i put a smallblock 400 in my 92 yj, it has a quadrajet carb on it, my question is what throtle cable do i need?, i tried a 79 k5 blazer throttle cable, and it hooked up fine, exzept for one problem the gas pedal would hit the floor b4 the the trottle was all the way open on the carb, so what cable do i need guys <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

i used a lokar throttle cable that i got from summit racing, was easy adjustable but did cost 30 bucks i think

Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but it sounds to me like you just need to shorten the cable at one end or the other and then put a new stop lug at the end of it.

Any GM cable will work...better try a camaro/firebird for shorter length than GM truck. I think I used a 1971 GM truck and it works just fine...may need to go to Napa and get a throttle ball kit..comes with all different size balls.
