luigi 11-16-2001, 07:05 AM The last time out in my Sammy, I had trouble with the T-Case getting stuck in nuetral. I got it unstuck and drove it home without the boot on the shifter. It was a pretty spooky sight that u-joint between the seats spins at like a Gazillion RPM. I don't see anyway around this as the shifter is there and no way to put a cover over it, has anyone heard of one grenading on the freeway? I guess that rubber boot would stop most of the shrapnel from coming through................NOT. Give me a break. If you u-joint blew off like you expect, I would imagine that there would be alot of warning signs first. Like squeky joint, vibrations, shaking. If you keep your truck in good shape, there should be no need for any worry on the road. | |
