That's my favorite year of the "older" Mustangs. '69's rule. :D

69s do rule and GT500s rule. You know, when you see a GT350 you're like 'There's a GT500 out there somewhere....' so it's in the mind, but still, that is an AWESOME care.

I don't like any mustang after 68...also considering shelby didn't actually put together the shelby mustangs after 67...or so I've been told. :D

AFAIK, Shelby had a hand in the GT cars, the 350,500,500KR, and even the GT40, All the way up until the end of the Shelby Mustang run, what, 1972?

It was a nice attempt at a 100point car. They went to all the trouble to find all the stickers and decals, hose clamps, even the wing nut for the air cleaner, voltage regualtor and other detail pieces then the fawk up some of the big and glaring stuff that make a 100point car in the first place. Don't get me wrong it's a really nice car but they fawked up a few thing in the restore and it has devalued the car some (it's still worth a fortune).
Examples:
Halogen headlights...Were not available. It's stupid but they are wrong for a "Restoration" of the caliber they were attempting to pull off. Easily fixed but it's trill wrong.
Paint and body work is too perfect. The doors openings the paint is too good. Doors line up too good. It would have been dull and matted. When a car got painted on the line the shoot the door opening then close the door and paint the skin. When there would have been over spray coming through the gap at the door edge and it would have left a matted look.
Wrong tires.
