to get one thats worth a damn to run your better off gettign a bare housing or any housing and just getting costom shafts from dutchman or something with 35 plines and disk brakes, like 500 bucks and your set ! jiMMy

IIRC the Jeep J20 pickup came with d60's F+R and were 6 lug. As for axle size and spline count - I dunno. They are kinda hard to find, so I am told.

J20's have an 8 lug 44 in the front and a floater 30 spline 8 lug 60 in the rear. The J10's had the 6 lug 44'4 and AMC20's. J1000 - J4000 had the 5 lug 44's and 60 rears

:)

El Dorado 9" ends welded on to the 60 with 35 spline shafts - pick your width and you got disks :)

well that is about it - weld on ford 9" ends so that you can bolt on the disk stuff and call up moser for your shafts

Do the 9 inch ends slide over the housing and then get welded? Just like the knuckles on a front end.

I am not really looking to build a 60, i was just wondering how they put on the nine inch ends. I am putting the 62 wide 14b under my project. But yea welder boy is the man when it comes to that stuff. Did you see his d60 knuckles on his rig at Calrocs?

Hey, thanks...I'm not sure which route I am going to go at this time, but that definitely sounds like a good setup.
