Will the gear reduction starter from an '87 FJ60 swap onto an early ('72 FJ40) 3-speed bellhousing/flywheel? We're working on the 2F into '72 FJ40 project and would like to use the later starter. Thanks! :D :usa:

Yep. The two starters are interchangable. I am running a gear reduction with a 3-speed bellhousing.
