Time to replace the tires on the F150 SuperCrew 4x4 tow rig.

Anyone run the Terra Grappler for any period of time now? A major concern for me is that I put 2K miles a month on my DD for work, how fast will these melt? Is the Load Range E too much for a F150, or will that help in not wearing too quick?

Good question. I just plane have wandered if the tires were any good period? I was going to get some for my Excursion but I never could find anyone who used them so I went with Michelins. They look good but...........On the "E" rating. I would not say they are to much for a half ton. No doubt they would last longer but you may not like the ride. Also if a woman ever drives it you may hear about it.

I am probably going to buy a set of the 315's for my SD.

But I would love to know exactly what the tires are like.

I put them on last week, about 1K miles on them, and love them so far. They ride like a dream, much better than the stock Goodyear. They did need a bit more psi than I expected, balanced well.

Looks like thwy whould be worth the cash. :D
