If Dodge dares to be different then why are they building F-150's with a dodge front clip!

FAWKIN IFS!!!!
FAWKIN AERODYNAMIC WINDSHIELD!!!!
FAWKIN BIG ASS UGLY OVAL GRILL!!!!!!!

Well at least we have another year before they start making the 2500's and 3500's :rainbow: like the new Chevy's, which is what I would want to drive if it wasn't for the FAWKIN IFS !!!!!

I am glad that I was finally able to buy a new 2500 this past year (put 350,000 on my last one) , because if I had to have waited a couple of years , I might have been forced into buying a Ford, just to have a real axle up front.

I was looking at one this weekend, and what a joke. They don't call it a Crewcab, because.....IT AIN'T!!!! Sitting in the back of a old body Quad cab is almost more comfortable than sitting in the back of the new QuadIwishIwasaCrewCab. I guess I could get used to the new front end (still looks like ASS though) But I hope to GAWWWWWD that they put a real back seat in the new 3500. But judging by the spy pics I can find, it looks like they will share the same cab as the 1/2 ton AND be IFS BOOO HOOO HOOO....

That $12K Crew conversion is looking more and more tasty for my '01 3500 every day!!!!

Uh, only the half ton is getting the IFS. The 3/4 and 1 ton are mantaining the straight front axle. It is just the same as all the rest. Granted I didn't see the "Four Full Sized Doors" as full size either. I see it as an improvement though. We shall see what comes in the year ahead though.

My wife works a mile from the Chrysler Desert Proving Grounds in Wittman, Arizona. I saw a disguised dualie and it was a solid axle rig:smokin:

I can't stand the new grills. I hope the aftermarket comes out with something that removes the giant cross and just has horizontal bars. I think that would make it look a bit better.

I also can't stand the 4 door cabs... YUCK! I guess we will be keeping our 2001 Cummins for a looong time:D

RELAX DUDE!! THE 2500 AND THE 3500 BOTH WILL MAINTAIN THE SOLID FRONT AXLE. DC JUST WANTED THE 1500 TO HAVE A MORE CAR LIKE RIDE. I TOO DISAGREE WITH THAT. I WISH THEY ALL HAD SOLID FRONTS, BUT HEY YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF GERMANS RUNNING THINGS NOW. I JUST HOPE THEY DON'T SCREW EVERYTHING UP. IF YOU WANT A REAL COOL DODGE SEND YOUR DODGE TO USA6X6 AND WE WILL CONVERT YOU 4X4 DODGE TO A 6X6 T-REX. CHECK OUT THE ONE WE ARE BUILDING NOW. GO TO: DODGERAM.ORG AND CLICK ONTHE USA6X6 T-REX PROJECT LINK AND YOU WILL SEE OUR BEAST. IS IS ALMOST DONE, IT IS IN THE PAINT BOOTH NOW GETTING A NEW SKIN.

MAN... You guys build the T-Rex? That's an awesome looking rig. I fell in love with that thing first time I saw it. Too bad I'll never be able to afford one :(

I saw one of those last spring. It sure was a great looking truck! :bounce2:

As far as the new 2002 squishycrewcab, I looked at one when they first came out. I wasn't too impresssed with some of the interior pieces, the small back seat or the 60" ;) wiper blades but I did like the flip up or out trailer towing mirrors. The big plastic grille doesn't seem too strong and looks kinda out of place. The one I looked at was a 4x4 and you could only see the front diff from under the hood. The "little bit bigger than a Club Cab" almost crewcab with a regular box was something freaky like 162" wheelbase! Imagine trying to park that thing.:eek::eek: Let me tell you though they really thought about cooling in these things. Everything that needs a cooler has it's own HUGE cooler. That's about all that I liked about the truck.
