I know there is a map on the calrocs web site, but someone told me that the event was being held at the base of the spillway AT the lake. The map seems to show the event north of the lake?

Anyone have any clarification on this????? Hope there will be signs posted.

From what I understand, you take 88 then go south on Jackson Valley Road. From the directions on the calrocs web site, you make a turn off at some fork in the road. however, I spoke to Randii today and he told me that the event is actually being held at the lake, right at the bottom of the spillway. If that's the case, then you take JVR and then turn left on Lake Amador Road...

Here's the rub... Lance posted maps to an address he was provided, and hasn't actually been to the site.

Here's a better map, showing the turnoff of Jackson Valley Road and Highway 88, which is less than 100 yard from where 104 meets 88. If you stand on the damn, you will be able to see the event, to the north.

I'm sure that CalROCS will have signage directing folks from Amador Drive to the event. Just get to the dam and you'll be in business, whether you need to cross the dam to register at the lodge for camping, or just stay on the north side of dam for the event.

For clarification, the dam is under the 'R and DR' at the end of AmadoR DR in the map attached above.
