I'll be taking a vacation in Vegas in the beginning of May and was wondering if there any places I could take a couple of rental TJs. Nothing hard core, just looking for any areas where I could take a nice spring ride through the desert.

Any place to rent a trail capable rig in Vegas?

I was out in Vegas about a month ago and saw a few places that rented Jeeps along the strip. Can't remember the names or where they were exactly though.

Great movie but I preffered the first two.

I'll be going down in May for a week and plan on showing the wife where I used to go around Vegas, when I lived there, and not just the Strip. Plan on taking day trips and showing her some desert country. Staying at the Excalaber. :D

Well, a couple years back when i went my first time, i rented a TJ and the guy at the rental place even told me where there was a dry river bed i could go exploring in, even gave me a map!!

But, if you want to go with 2 Jeeps, make sure you pack your own tow strap, that was one thing he couldn't provide me with. :D

And lots of the major rental companies will rent a Jeep for around 60-70 bucks for a 24 hour period.

I just went there for spring break....I think...I remember lights, spending lots of money, and topless dancing girls....

Anyways...

-Go out to redrocks and to the calico basin loop. Its a really cool place to drive around looks kinda like moab
-Go see the Circus De spinning and falling people.
-The worlds best spinning and flipping bottle throwers are right on the strip at the open bar at the....um.....I can't remember...it was some cool shit though...
-Don't walk around on the strip in the daylight, it sucks...nighttime is much better...
-Learn to play craps, then to play the the bilagio and win back all the money you spent during the trip

Have fun....just remember...its not about getting in trouble, its about not getting caught!!!!
