First off, yes I searched! <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0">
I have an 81 Scrambler with a 4-banger/SR4/D300 combo. I have a line on a 258/T150/D20 that I'd love to swap in.

Except that I want to keep the low range of the D300. So, will the T150 bolt to the D300? Is there an adapter made? Advance doesn't show one.

I know the T150 isn't great, but it's better than an SR4 <IMG SRC="smilies/puke.gif" border="0">

Thanks!

The Jeep d300 will not bolt up. The d20 has a patten that looks like Texas, the Jeep d300 is a round pattern. The Scott d300 has the "Texas" bolt pattern and will bolt up. You do have to check the spline counts too. The 150 should have a 6 spline output and the most Scout d300's have a 6 spline input. There are exceptions, such as the ones behind autos. Check the splines before you buy on. HTH

Tool around the Advanced Adaptors web site for more info.

I wouldn't bother trying to adapt the T-150, it's not worth throwing any money at. Swap it in as is. If you want, you could swap Bronco D20/D18 guts into that D20 and you will be almost where you would have been with the D300. Or just hold on to the D300 and use it when you swap out that T-150 for something better.
