anyone know what the highest gear ratio is that you can get for the 60-70's? with the dana 44's?

V8 scouts came with 3.07 to 3.73
I 6 scouts 3.73 or 4.09
Diesels and 4 bangers 4.09 and 4.27

But you could order anything you wanted and may dealers did just that!

7.17 on the 60's
5.89 on the 44's
5.38 on th reverse rotation 44 and 60

Expand to include 1980, and you could get 2.72 gears, too! Maybe 79, too.

I don't think it gets any "higher" than 2.72..
