Previously posted in the "WANTED" section.
I urgently need a carburator & Coil/ignitor for a 1986 FJ60.
This was my daily ride, now it's the in-laws old Honda. Please help restore my dignity.
If no one has any parts can some one atleast tell me wether the MAF Weber kit is a decent alternitive?

Not as urgent but still looking for these items.
Rear shoulder belt sets out of FJ62's. Color not important just working.

last but not least anyone within reasonable distance of Bend Or. with a decent 33x10.5x15 or 33x9.5x15 for a spare, we need to talk.
Thank you all.
please E-mail me slacker@bendnet.com

I'm not a big fan of the Weber carb, I think a factory AISIN carb is much better; can't you just rebuild the one on yours? Price the coil from one of the Toyota dealers that offer a discount, they're not that expensive.

I'll second the "not a big fan of the weber" I would rebuild the existing carb, or check here (www.car-part.com)...

Weber carbs are good carbs on some applications--but neither the 32/36 or the 38/38 are just right for the LC engines. Plus, they always seem to need tinkering with. I would stick with the OEM and rebuild.

PARTS HERE http://www.cruiserparts.net/parts/fj60.html

I can't vouch for their service though.

cruiserparts.net is a good source if your not looking to spend a bunch of money. I'm a poor college kid and have used them for body parts (<--heh sounds strange) and some other parts. pretty good service and some decent parts. just keep in mind they are used parts, not new. I have 2 carbs off an '87 60 that need to be rebuilt.
