If you have a garage you could have the shit welded on proffessionally at a welding shop while the IFS is still on it, then do the rest of the swap yourself ;)
or get a wleder and start practicing:D

No, Southern Off-Road is not ok, at least anymore.
If you want it done right, shoot me an email. I work with the guy that used to own Southern Off-Road before it went down the drain.

some of the guys at southern off road seem to be cool (phone conversations) but the owner or atleast the guy that owned it about a year ago was smoking some kinda crack a friend of mine had talked to them about some work and was quoted $4,000 over the phone and then when he went up there under the exact same circumstances was told $20,000, not quite sure what they were thinking.

I don't know who they have in there now, but the old guys were cool. The orginal owner left in Jan of 02'.
If you want it done right, the best bet is to do it yourself.

doooooood.... $4000?????? mine was about $400-$600... and that includes beer and pizza.:flipoff2: the leaf sprung sas was cheap and easy...
need the following-
bud lite, pizza, axle, leaf springs, hangers (fabbed or bought,) shackles, a steering box, and a power steering pump from a ttb ford. oh yeah, and a friend with a welder.:D once again dude, you seemed really cool when we talked.. PLEASE don't spend that kinda $$ on a simple mod... i hate to see you get screwed that way. i'll offer any assistance i can without physically being there to help.
