Plan on making a Salvage Yard run this weekend. What vehicle should I look for as a donor? Need front and rear. Prefer Dana 60's f&r.

Thank you

Your gonna want to look for any 1 ton chevy/ford/dodge for the front. i have a rear:D you can buy it from me:D i got mine out of an international. but they are also in fullsize jeeps, and some 3/4 ton trucks. or you can just buy mine:D

Trying to determine what axles/donor would require the least modification to work in my application.

I doubt that anything is going to bolt right in. You will likely need to either narrow the axles or outboard your springs. Poison Spyder Customs (http://www.poisonspydercustoms.com/index2.html) (click on "Full Size Axle Kits") has a kit to make this relatively easy now.

I'm afraid that I do not know what gear ratios, axle widths, and spline counts you might encounter. Have you checked out the tech bible (http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/bible/index.html)?
