Years ago a group of us would go out to breakfast any my buddy's GF would order an English muffin and a bowl of Frosted Flakes.

Another friend of mine orders a grilled cheese every time I go out to eat with him.

WTF is up with that? I've asked my buddy and all I get is "I like grilled cheese". I look at it like this, when I go to a resturant I'm gettin' something that I usually don't take the time to make at home not something that only takes me 5 minutes to make not to mention the fact that they charge $3 and I can make it for around 35*¢!:rolleyes:

maybe that resturant makes a helluva grill cheese???

Maybe he likes grilled cheeze.

No the resturant in question made a hell of a burger called the lakesider, 1/2 lb ground sirloin topped with ham, BACON, swiss and cheddar all on a homemade kyser roll. Grilled cheese is grilled cheese.

Oh, sorry.... that's been posted already. :D

I'm the same, if i go out to eat, i'm havin' a bigass Ceasar Salad, some fillet of some sort of fish i generally don't cook at home, or a cut of meat i never buy at the store.... and likely some dessert i couldn't even fathom how to make.

But that's just me.... anyone who orders frosted flakes and an english muffin, well, probably knows how to burn water pretty damned good. :D

I ordered curried duck at a Thai place one time and the waitress says "What kind of meat would you like with that?" We all got a big laugh out of that.

I had a friend no matter where we went he'd always order a plain cheese burger with no toppings. :rolleyes:

Kinda like my mom when she goes out to ice cream always gets vanilla. We have this place called Leatherby's here that makes all their ice cream there. It's way good, and they have all kinds of great flavors.... but noooo I'll have the vanilla...

Grilled cheese is not grilled cheese.......

I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow. I just have to decide which restaurant.

Reminds me of a friend of mine. We drove all the way to Alaska and when we got to Anchorage he wanted to go to Dairy Queen for supper. I refused so we went to the Glacier Brewhouse pub and would you guess what he ordered? A bacon cheese burger. :rolleyes: You don't to Alaska and only eat a cheese burger.:shaking:

I went to ColdStone Creamery this evening, got a huge waffle-cone with vanilla bean ice cream and brownies mixed in. A good vanilla is hard to pass up!

I like those three best...in that order!

BUWAHAHAHAHA.... uncle and I in the hotel at Yosemite this past weekend, he wakes me up @ 7am! the first day, so the next morning i made him promise me not to wake me till 8. Apparently this extra hour was all i needed to :nuke: the hotel room all to hell. :laughing: :D - he said... "Smells like farts in here." As mentioned already...a good vanilla is a special thing :). I'll occasionally order a diffrent flavor but my favorite is vanilla, have a half gallon in the freezer right now.

We used to travel to Harlingen, TX on business all the time & this one gal from the Marketing department always wanted to eat at Olive Garden. WTF, we have about 20 of those in St. Louis. I will admit to eating at a Pizza Hut in Edinburgh Scotland, but hey after a 10 days of British food, you'd understand why I did that :D
