Well...I'm pretty sure this is the first time a Rover has transported a 15-foot Swingline stapler. The convoy down South Congress (one of Austin's quirkiest streets) was truly an experience.

We will be pushing said stapler off of a 30-foot deck in this weekend's Flugtag Festival here in Austin. Somehow, we're favored to win.

Exactly...

The stapler's name is actually TPS-One. Did you get the memo?

So, I have a few minutes to kill at G4 and check the Pirate board at the Media Center (centre???).

I see this picture of a freakin' yellow D90 with a big ass stapler attatched to it (with staples perhaps???), and start laughing out loud.

Thanks for making me make an ass out of myself in front of all the LR biggies around here. Luckily no one came over to see what I was laughing about.

Nice pic, and yeah, I'm sure it's something no other LR has ever (or will ever again) done.

LOL, glad I could provide some amusement this Friday! I'm still waiting on the pictures of the actual convoy. We attracted, well, a lot of attention.

The stapler launches tomorrow. I can't believe we are actually putting someone inside and launching them off, essentially, a 30 foot cliff. Yes, I'll have pics :flipoff2:

It says a lot when tomorrow morning I am bringing two action packers for the team - one full of tools, Off, and sunscreen, the other full of beer.

Our team name, BTW, is The Michael Bolton Fan Club.
