I'm building a spare tire rack and need three studs to mount the spare tire. What are you guys using for your studs? If I were to buy metric bolts for my lug nuts, what's the pitch size? I assume it's M16 x 1.5 thread for my stock lug nuts (for a RRC). I need to find something today so I can wrap this up and move onto other things. Heading to Moab this weekend.

I used 9/16 gm studs and lugs for my tire carrier. Dorman is a good brand and can be found at most decent autoparts- autozone-advanced-checker

You will not find a lug on the open market (non-landrover type shop) in a 16mm.
